Here I am. I know what you're thinking. Why is Andrea dressed like Medusa. Truth is, it was a late night, I was running on a lack of sleep, and you know, sometimes things get a little nuts. Actually, it was Halloween and since I'd actually dressed up I figured some photographic evidence was in order. Anyway, here's the basics, if you're curious...
Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, Andrea Norberg is a graduate of the Applied Photography Program at SIAST. Coming from a background in film, having received her film degree from University of Regina in 2004, she spent a few years working in corporate environments before the lure of the creative world pulled her back, enticing her to get back to her fine arts roots with a focus on still photography.
In the last 6 years, Andrea has been making a name for herself in various facets of the photography business. Every year she publishes a calendar with images of her landscape photography, which sells at the Mackenzie Art Gallery. While she is still fond of landscape photography and enjoys outings with her former classmates to scour the countryside for whatever strikes their fancy, more recently, however, Andrea has been focusing her efforts on increasing her portrait portfolio.
